This year’s theme, “Fertile Ground,” reflected an urgent call for strategic collaboration and systems-level thinking to tackle deep-rooted challenges such as governance gaps and economic contraction .
Over three days, the conference featured a robust agenda that spanned plenary sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Sessions addressed topics ranging from livelihoods and agriculture, youth leadership, health systems resilience, to innovative finance models like results-based funding . Notably, HFSA’s session alongside the Kolektif Arcadins and Model School Network explored how collective investment in agricultural value chains and nutrition programs can accelerate community impact.
The event closed with renewed momentum for HFSA’s strategic goals: expanding its network, formalizing governance, and mobilizing long-term funding. The Executive Director’s speech reinforced this direction, calling on funders to move beyond individual grantmaking and embrace coordinated, systemic investment. Participation in the conference strengthens HFSA’s visibility among key stakeholders and positions the Alliance as an essential conduit for philanthropic impact in Haiti.
