Official Recognition of the Haiti Food System Alliance (HFSA) as an Association

On June 7, 2025, members of the Steering committee convened for an in-person meeting at the Boston Foundation. During this gathering, we took a monumental step forward in our mission. We proudly signed the “Acte Constitutif”, the “Statuts”, and the “Procès Verbal”, officially recognizing the Haiti Food System Alliance as a legalized association in Haiti.

This marks a new chapter for HFSA, with formal recognition that strengthens our ability to pursue our goals and initiatives. We would like to acknowledge the commitment of those present at the meeting: Gael Pressoir, Robert Johnson, Patrick Dessources, Pierre Noel, Lucia Di Poi, Reginald Cean and Joanne Bounouni. Their leadership and dedication are crucial in this moment of transformation.

As we move forward, we remain united in our mission to enhance food security and resilience in Haiti, with the support of our growing network of partners and stakeholders.
